Dr. Michael Apa, DDS

As a partner in the Rosenthal Apa Group, and having founded the first branch
of Apa Aesthetic in Dubai, Dr. Apa has developed a new approach to aesthetic
dentistry called Facial Aesthetic Design (FAD) that creates perfectly natural smiles
that fit the face and enhance the appearance. Through this FAD approach, Dr. Apa
seeks to create a blueprint for the future of aesthetic dentistry, raising standards and
expectations of the best smile attainable.

This approach hinges on his ability to transform the entire face by recontouring the
smile using porcelain veneers, making for a more attractive whole. By scientifically
assessing facial asymmetries and growth patterns, he determined that he could
actually restore the balance of the features by transforming teeth to fit more
harmoniously with the face. Dr. Apa discovered that features like a crooked nose,
deviated chin, thin upper lip, hollow cheeks, or frown lines could be minimized or
compensated for by the artful sculpting of a new smile.

Dr. Apa also mastered the technique of making porcelain veneers mimic nature,
creating teeth that are subtle, natural and undetectable, yet functional.

A graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Apa did his general
practice residency at New York Methodist Hospital, and completed a one-year
clinical concentration program in cosmetic dentistry at New York University. He has
lectured extensively both nationally and internationally for dental companies, study
groups, and New York University on current topics in aesthetic dentistry to
thousands of dentists.
